Recording time on jobs

I find it difficult to try and keep track of time on jobs, I'm forever writing notes on when I started jobs but never putting down the end time, or not bothering at all. Then there's constant interruptions from other members of staff asking for assistance, it feels impossible to keep track sometimes!
Does anyone have a handy system/way to keep track of time that they'd like to share?

go to photoshop make an A4 template of days of the week and leave a space to write in the jobs you are working on during that day then leave a little space for the time you started working on that job that day and leave a space for the time you finished working on that job that day easy peasy lemon squeezy
- it's easier just to type in your time in a sticky.doesnotexist

lacks a bit in the project managment dpt, but for pure time tracking it works just fine.

If you use ical - just write down your hours in there, it's quick... then you could later when you have a bit more time to use ibiz to fill in properly...
