I am impressed, considering how cheap it is.

looks interesting.

make sure your pics are high enough res. i recommend using a custom / full bleed template as their type selection and layouts are a bit daft.

If you have a page entirely of text, make sure the image is a png not jpg.

you have to submit text as at bitmap? that's daft

its good.

too bad neither Lulu or Blurb accepts pdfs for picture books. Lulu will do it only for text...

^ looks like blurb customers are getting impatient waiting for PDF uploads

I used it, didn't use their layouts. I created my own and followed their guidelines for submitting your own layouts. The quality was good, however a co worker recently created a book with them and she paid for the high quality paper...it looks so much better.

i find the idea of getting my own book printed very exciting - i need to get out more.

That so cool. I might give it a go.

yes we can

blurb now has PDF uploads.
I got mine together in time to enter the Photo Book Now competition, but the book needs ordered first, and then there's the entry fee. I lost my job almost 3 months ago now and can't really justify the fees, dammit.

I would also recommend it. I did a book a while back and the process was easy, fast and cheap. They're nice quality also.

nice luda. looks good.
what was your total print cost?
- Luda0
To get it ordered and shipped to Ireland address was around £50. It's the largest size of book they print, hence the price.
