I've created a poster for the bushfire appeal.
It is here http://www.imagekind.com/Gallery…
$7 USD from each poster sold (100% of the markup - rest goes to imagekind) will go to a family who has lost someone, lost their home etc.
On the 31st of March I am personally driving to one of the hot spots to deliver this donation in person and in cash.
I'm hoping to raise $1000 AUD to give to someone to help start rebuilding their life or just buy supplies while their government funds are being decided.
If you wonder why I think this is important, please visit these links:

I will try and film the presentation, but most likely just photographs of the donation.
This isn't a fucking poster crit, I don't care if you don't like the kerning or colours.
Thanks for reading.

you're better off just asking for money.
ps I like you.

I wanted people to feel like they were more involved by getting something in the post to hang at their office or home.

Great initiative - hats off to you Sir.

It's been up 30 minutes, thanks to the 3 who have purchased already.

Special thanks to the QBNer who donated his time and prints of this for free for us to sell at our benefit party.
For people too lazy to check the links, the poster looks like this:
Buy it here: http://www.imagekind.com/Showart…

what does the type say down the bottom?
- meffid0
"The owner of this poster donated their time, money and thoughts to the people who lost their lives, family and homes in the Australian bushfires 2009"
- meffid0
3 have sold of this poster.
I've dropped the price significantly, at least 1/5 of you can afford to shell out the $11 for a small one, I hope some more of you come to the party on this.

A company that I run, BiggyPix.com is hooking up with brother meffid to donate as many prints as can be made, to support his benefit party. I hope these prints help the effort and the cause.
Thus far, we've made 48 prints, with a goal of 100 prints, however, my printer is running low on Red ink... let's see how far she will go. :-)
The prints each measure 9"(w)x12.8"(t) and are printing on a high-gloss archival photo-paper. I must say that they are looking rather swell!
Anyhow, here you go:

Making the prints
I'll need to ship them to AU soonest. Hopefully tomorrow.
Peace and prayers to all those affected.

haven't checked the links yet, but, can we buy them online? I like the idea!
- Hurley0
You're going to wait for the government funds to be divided? What kind of statement is that.
- meffid0
Hurley – The whole idea is that we aren't waiting.
The Red Cross has collected over $15 million Australian but they don't just go handing it out, it takes a long time to decide where and how to spend it. The $1000 that I'm hoping to raise is a small contribution but will buy a family supplies or what not in the meantime.- yes, so many people need monetary help right-away, at a minimum.GetRefresh

I really want one, I'm in Sydney, any way to pay other than by credit card? Mines expired and st george haven't sent me a new one yet.
Am keen for a canvas.
Fantastic cause btw, so amazing to see how Australia (and the rest of the world) has gotten behind this cause. It's very humbling!
- I think you can do it via paypal also?meffid
- I would mail meffid un-stretched canvas (in a tube) if you would buy one >GetRefresh
- you would have to have it stretched to wooden bars locally.GetRefresh
