@_sae: RE Pepsi_ —The new type is a better fit for the times, which in itself is a good sign; but the old look was circa 1990s, which fit that era. The new "evolving" mark was a gamble, I guess, but a losing one. The mark is the focus with the type supporting and the type is good, but can't make up for that lousy mark. Just one fellow's opinion, of course.
- Sorry, that's a bit scrambled. I meant, the old mark fit the times; the new one seems to miss the target.blaw

the new pepsi mark bleeds where the middle white swoosh gets really thin – very bad visual judgement

None of these changes will actually increase or decrease how much people drink this crap outside the usual range.

The Sprite rebrand is not as bad as Pepsi rebrand. Then again nothing is!

I urinate on those log redesigns.
This is probably the only time I could honestly say “I could do better than these” and be able to back it up.

I wonder who gets paid the big bucks for doing all these shit logos.

I think Coke hit the mark by going back to the old can design – just white text on a red background (at least that’s what they did here). Pepsi should just go back to what they had in 1979 and be done with it.

I feel the newer sprite logo is really suffocating..
it's like the old logo is trapped in a bag and panicking to get out.
- with lemon on the outside, like kirk and spock in the wrath of kahn.winnie_the_shit
