saw on krop that they are hiring. didn't they just laid-off people. what's up with that???
- JasonSack0
saw that and thought the exact same thing. maybe they laid off non-interactive folks?
- harlequino0
Yeah, I have a friend in operations. Mostly non-creative lay offs.

won a big budget?

well, this business has a lot up and downs.

One day you're up, the next day you're down. What a crazy life.

maybe they're like the fucking banks--still advertising for no reason
- jaylarson0
maybe they're like circuit city: fire 100's of their employees and have them reapply along with several others.
- Seanbot0
don't do it. the turnaround is high. that's why.
- how Schematic of you. lol.akrokdesign

They are always hiring, I wouldn't put too much weight into their Krop posts...

I agree, big companies always say they're hiring. They just like to play the field and see what people are doing.

some companies use the recession as an excuse to clean house and replace with new people.

Denver shop...
- OSFA0
new people? or CHEAPER / desperate people?
- fate_0
I've heard that most of the people they just let go weren't creative talent (think accountants, maybe some AE's or AM's)
But OSFA, if they're hiring for real at all, is probably right. Out with the people they given years of raises to, in with the newbies at base starting salaries.

well, if they get some new blood they might update their site. its about time. yes, cp+b. you need a fresh site. its best before date has gone out.
