Your logo seem... unadjusted. Try unified weight and size.
Having a nice background image at start can also help
- just wanted to try and make it really clean and simple and not distract from the work... that was my logic as far as the whole bkgrnd is concernedBarryMcKockiner

It also doesnt make sense to have pretty much nothing in the background with overlay.
Why not just do simple nav without any white?

Use contact page with proper information, I dislike any contact that launches an email client. Also, Resume should be HTML also with option to download PDF

clicked around for a while, fuck all happened. i think it might be broken.

i think JSK covered it pretty good. i would take out the 5 pixel top margin.
nice work, though. :-)
- the identity section is a little bit weak. why all grey. im picky. :-)akrokdesign

I don't understand why you used lightbox on top of an empty background instead of simply having the images show up? Plus it's annoying to have to click to close, then click again to open something else.
I also hate when the "Contact" tab on a nav is a mailto link. It should link to a contact page.
- used LB because I was just plain lazy and short on time... you just want me to work to hard here don't you? got any image nav solutions?BarryMcKockiner
- yeah i agree, don't even want to see the rest because I have to click so many times.doesnotexist

I am not a big fan of italics...

- you won't like mine much then.********

i just went back and has another go. looks like your lightbox is opening behind your empty white box. which, might, in some circles, be seen as not 100% ideal.
ff on winxp on a mac. if that helps.
- *um, had another go.********
- you already know that I like your site. italics done right for once.********
- lol, which might have something to do with the site being in flash.********
- why on earth would you put a menu, that does nothing in flash?********
- or don't use lightbox.********
- *um, had another go.

I'm struggling to understand the site. The initial page is supposed to incite the viewer to enter your work. You need to work on that pg a LOT. Think about your overall site structure. As of now, its very unbalanced and unappealing. Show the work like you care for each piece and not just stick it on there. Explain your process, your role, your thinking (being an AD this is important) etc. Also since you don't have much work, I would recommend not categorizing them. Keep pushing it.

Why am I clicking twice to see a piece of work? Why is there a modal window over the top of a big white space?

Trying not to sound to ignorant, but what are the requirements for calling yourself an Art Director?
- means that you fling poo... professionally! the title is actually used incorrectly quite often outside of advertising... http://en.wikipedia.…BarryMcKockiner

When a project has two images I should be able to forward to the second image from the first without closing the window going back to the menu and clicking again.
