We have facebook, myspace, digg, etc. What do the Japanese have? I have heard of one called Miki (i think)...

If I remember rightly, they were way ahead over there of us with this type of thing. I think maybe the south koreans in particular. Not sure of any specifics...

You have to remember that the Japanese access alot of this more on mobile phones than on a desktop or laptop, so don't expect the bright colors, flashing images..etc...

to kelpie - S. Korea used to have CyWorld, although it seems like it's faded a bit recently... of course I haven't been keeping up well. I'm not sure about Japan. CyWorld tried to come to the US, but failed miserably as they didn't correct for culture.
