64% of FoxNews viewers/readers don't believe that global warming is real. How fucking inane.
Regardless if humans have had an effect on climate change, the Earth has been heating up and cooling down for billions of years. How can they deny that the temperature of the Earth simply fluctuates? Do they honestly think that the Planet's intention is to always accommodate human life?

People don't think about this when they think of global warming. They just think it means the world is warming up and humans must give up all conveniences to accommodate the planet. It's as ignorant as saying that just because it's cold out, it must mean that there is no such thing as global warming. But that's how the information is given out too, and that's how people pass it on to others.
It reminds me of feminism, and how people have lost the fundamental meaning and theories behind it, primarily because of people who are in denial or are ignorant, and radicals.

dskz is right, we should be more worried about global cooling, the other school of climatologists are saying that increased water vapor in the air (caused by jet trails, etc.) is reflecting the suns rays back into space - actually a reverse global warming.

I do. I think the earth was designed for us. But I also think the earth is broken; ravaged by human sin (which works backwards over time since time is non-linear).
I agree that the earth has a cyclical pattern of going from cool to hot to cool over long periods of time. I do not think the current heating trend is anthropogenic.

registered temperature in developed countries = more of less 200 years,

Dont you think 200 years + another 15-25 years from sampling ice a couple of kilometres down combined with basic math gives you a pretty good scope? Ignorance is a bliss but its that kind of ignorance that pacifies the masses into believing its too hard to understand, thus they keep on doing wrong.

Personally I think global warming is a democratic scare tactic, with good intentions. Do we need to be more efficient and conserve more yes I agree 100% and yes there are billions of people on earth and we all pollute and throw away trash and burn fossil fuels. But the earth has gone through warming and cooling periods before. And for lots of people the only way to convince them of change is to tell the the sky is falling.
