I got a coffee maker as a gift a while back.....I'm back to using a coffee plunger. So simple and almost as quick as instant.
Who's with me?

I'M TOTALLY WITH YOU!

I thought you we're referring to Baristas. Home made coffee doesn't compare, unless you buy a proper coffee machine.

Girls cup I say! I drink coffee in my pint mug.

I’ve got one word for you – Nespresso
- Are they the machines that take the pods? I had an Uno Uno but it was damn expensive buying the podsBrainiac
- They are. The pods end up being less than a dollar a cup (AU). More than beans, less than a coffee shop.MrOneHundred
- but a kilo of beans is $35. You gotta grind it fresh. nesspresso is for george clooney wannabestoe_knee

i usually use a drip funnel like the one above....but i lost mine camping. now im using a "french press" i guess thats the same as a coffee plunger. coffees not as good. too muddy.
its tough to beat a drip filter for taste and simplicity

I'm not fussy so I drink instant, but I love visiting clients with the all-in-one machines that grind the beans and make the perfect cup at the press of a button. I have no idea how much they cost to run though. Most of the really cool ones I've seen have been Saeco.

i have a broken fancy pants machine so been using the french press lately.
i've found the key though- i got a really fine mesh mug-size strainer that i pour through, eliminates some of the mud.
- kalkal0
So how do you take it? Black or white?
- Strong, sweet and black – like I take my men.MrOneHundred

I take it black with this:
http://www.industrialjoe.com/fre…If you have mud your grind is to fine and you need a better press with a tighter stainless steel mess.

I really can't do black coffee, its like its missing something. I think that might be milk

its all about the grind and the crema. espresso > anything
