Merry (or Happy, to you brits) Christmas everyone! THis year we upped the ante of 7 fish plates to 9. Gonna stink up the neighborhood, but I'll be drunk at the time. You guys all rock. :)

100 fresh-harvested oysters, Taittinger, and lump crab meat for the first course. Braised haddock with purée of parsnip & seared apples with port.
The woodstove is cranking and i have to listen to Christmas music (of note, i loathe christmas music) but it should pair well with an old-vine Cab from Argentina. It is spooky how similar Rand and I's nights are IMO.
(note: little necks with leeks and chorizo were for lunch)

Gonna get home 11, Watch that new Biohazard movie (that's resident evil to most), degeneration. Girlfriend downloaded it, which is pretty awesome in itself.
Slice some food up with my christmas gift: Global knives.
No drinking or smoking tonight - company christmas soba-slurping get-togheter starts 11 in the morning. Got to be sober enough to get there in time.
