Do you think the best way to end the crisis is massive government spending like Obama and the Democrats want? Or take a hands off approach and just ride it out?

I have the feeling all the spending the govt can do is just a drop in the bucket

I can''t read anymore of this. I need to go to bed, with a clear head and heart. My country is hemmoraging. The wealthy and rich, elite have taken all of the fun out of the American Dream.Posted by janeyre at 01:18 AM : Dec 17, 2008

How to fix economy?
READ George Orwell's 1984
and realize how the whole perception of a crisis is created and managed through the media/propaganda machine (Ministry of Truth)Also realize who George Orwell (real name: Eric Blair) is.
Eric Blair, worked in propaganda for the BBC. His Father worked for British Intel. What he put in 1984 is NOT nonsense. We are living out much of it today.

So there is no crisis? I confused.

Well. in some ways you are correct. I mean when Business X posts a loss of billions, the money didn't really go to anyone it just sort of evaporated.
- the entire economy is one dollar, moving very fast********
- So it's a quantum economy then?TheBlueOne
- If you try to save that dollar though, it just disappears.Horp

they are reckoning that more high street chains in the UK will fold in the new year - starting with electronics and luxury goods stores.
damn good news if you are looking for a new plasma, computer, hifi etc ;)and car sales have slumped to an alltime low. peugot have slashed a THIRD off the price of their peoplecarrier showing that families obviously arent buying cars at the moment - their priority will be paying the mortgage and putting food on the table.
again, good news if you are looking to buy a new car.

I've got the perfect solution. Sandwiches.
If people eat sandwiches, someones gotta make em, distribute em, market em and sell em.If everybody just bought some sandwiches we'd be outta this mess before you had time to finish your crisps.
Crisps you say? Yes, thats the second part of the plan, tune in tomorrow to hear more.

Consumerism was invented as a way of rescuing bankrupt economies after two world wars. In a way the entire post-war consumerist society has been a dream sequence, like in Dallas when Bobby Ewing stepped out of the shower.
We are simply going to go back to a pre-war economic state and regionalism once again. That will be good, once the pain has subsided.

If we just clear the country's ram buffer after turning off the wireless connection, I think it should clear some of that slow loading.
- TheBlueOne0
We have to adjust the countries' tachyon particle emitter bypass stream.
What?
It always works on Star Trek.

I advocate scrapping the currency and starting over. As I have nothing to lose in that scenario.

Money is just a 'pass by reference' of the faith in future exchanges that need not ever happen, but are the nominative in a 'pass by value'.
