I see six too many fonts.

It doesn't feel like there's a really cohesive over design to it - more like a bunch of disparate text-friendly elements lumped together.
There's no tangible hierarchy to it and my eyes are kinda lost, trying to wade through.
The hit areas for clicking through to your projects is too small - I'd expect to be able to click in the graphic headers to navigate through.
The 'View Extended Portfolio' and 'Design Depository' boxes are clumsy.
Like mg33 says - there are too many fonts in there. If I were you, I'd take this as a starting point and work out what you can remove or simplify. My feeling is that 3/4 of the complexity in that page could go.

- 'designs' sounds amateur. don't pluralize it. and I agree, sounds kinda corporatemonospaced
- just sounds cheesyJaline

"Breathing life into a cluttered field."
Ironic ;)

too busy.

2nd viewing: looks like you beat the shit out the grid with the choice of type

I'm not sure a "price guide" for your services is necessary on your site. I don't have much experience with this though. Anyone else want to comment about that?

you are 18 ;)
- I'm curious how one has "6 solid years in the design industry" at such a young age.Jaline
- Kudos to him for having something like this though.Jaline
*asks himselfmoamoa- I just mean that he must've started around 12 then. Or before, as "solid" has a certain meaning to me.Jaline
- ;) I played lego with 12moamoa
- wow! I thought I started early.. you started at 12?? how long before you got your first job? 10? 9? I mean you need a few years right?Meeklo
- hah. I did start making web sites when I was 12 after reading a book. I was obsessed.Jaline
- years right? that is trully impressiveMeeklo
- I played with girls when I turned 13moamoa
- I started to pla soccer when I turned 15moamoa
- amazing, huh?moamoa
- I started to wear V-neck shirts when I turned 17moamoa
- My first site was about Pokemon. Second one was about Books.
Third one was about hackingJaline - Now that I think of it, there were definitely guys online who would've been arrested for "speaking" to me. Weird!Jaline
- So many things I didn't really get....but I did know how to make web sites.Jaline

too distractive.

"reasonable priced" = reasonably priced
you charge too little

I am not the biggest fan of indexr od indexhibit sites, but in your case I would suggest you to try it. you can´t do to much wrong.
- mg330
Busy was what I was going to say as well. It looks like several different sites - good and bad - just tossed together. Some aspects look like contemporary web design, some elements look like junky Intranets for boring companies.

Way too much is happening at the same time.
If you dumped the recent work section on the home page for example, the intro section to the left would get all the user´s attention, which would be a good thing for the home page. then you could annihilate the intro part on all the sub-pages, it´s redundant there. I suggest to kill all content that isn´t really necessary (like the 4 things at the bottom). reduce text length, font number, and simplify, simplify, simplify to focus your message. also the marketing speak doesn´t suit you well, like nairn said. keep it real!
Also: for an 18year old you´re really doing an amazing job. be good!

I agree with most comments, there's a lot going on, it makes me sort of confused about how to view your work on the work page, I see the link which is how I eventually found the lightbox, but would have assumed the link would take me to another site or page instead of to a lightbox or that maybe the pictures would be the link, however the pictures don't look like button links to the rest of the work either.

The kid is only 18! Give him some credit.
For an 18-year-old, this is pretty darn good.

He knows he's good I think, he just wanted a critique. His website is better than mine (I'm 20 and I'm not even willing to post it with the condition it is in right now). I think he just wanted feedback.
