I've watched and enjoyed the Philly and Jo'burg episodes but can't help but feel that LT is more about asking questions to get a shocking or disturbing response than to find a legitimate answer to what should be his main question:
"How the fuck are you/we/all of us going to get out of this mess?"

His questions aren't that stupid. They're deliberately naîve but they get a really good response because people are so disarmed by how simple / innocent the questions are.
I think he's ace.

I didn't say he wasn't very good at what he does, but he rarely asks people for input on what they believe would be a viable solution to the reason for him being there like he has done in past series highlighting social decay, urban poverty and depravation.
