come on ya big nancys. if you don't like a persons posts then don't read 'em. simple.

Yep, seriously, there is absolutely nothing you could post in their threads that would make them as ape-shit-crazy as just ignoring them.
I do solemnly swear, as QBN is my witness, to implement my own IGNORE feature.
Who’s with me?
- airey0
there's already an ignore feature, your fucking brain.
obviously personal choice is something a few of you are struggling with huh?
- Yep, that’s the one I am referring to.MrOneHundred
- you might need to do up a flyer for the others lol!airey

THEN why is it you are bitching, airey? why don´t you take your own advice and shut up if their complaining is bothering you? I don´t get your logic.

i do, but i don't feel the need to ignore this thread so i don't. i also feel the need to try to coax less-progressive people into moving on and being slightly evolved in displaying self-control and personal choice.
last time threads like this started it ended in a few people losing accounts and being IP blocked for a while. understandably. they were at fault.
the problem and irony is that people wind each other up and support the attitude that on a public (i reinforce public) forum, freedom of speech is something only they can have. only they. odd really.
public forums are open to all. free accounts for anyone. therefore anyone has the right to say whatever they want. true or false, real or made up.
to be honest people like marketmaker/hedge/whatever are actually taking the piss, probably to wind people like yourself up, to see what happens. instead of seeing this you simply go knee-jerk and hop on the offensive. if they aren't taking the piss then who cares, ignore them.
you want freedoms to say what you like then support that right for all or none. especially when the comments are not racist, homophobic nor sexist. simply neocon crap which, in the current state of economy become more hilarious in their falsehood.
still, maybe you're right. maybe we shouldn't grow up and learn to ignore things on a public forum that irritate. maybe we can ask QBN to filter everything so we only get opinions and views we already agree so as to support our fragile ego.
what would i know obviously.
- Ampersanderson0
The ignore button would do the trick, Jason
- ********0
I absolutely see your point. but especially if you´re on the freedom of speech train you should respect this request, even if it´s the 500th time this is brought up.
I don´t know why the trolls still get fed, but they do. And I have yet to see an open board, that didn´t get soiled by the trollers. self control is a good theory, but doesn´t work in reality unfortunately.
when the trolling starts to hurt the quality of the board, driving decent users away and a majority wants to ignore the troublemakers (not even talking bans here, which would be my personal fave), ignore would be a very small cutback on the freedom issue. reasonable compromise IMO.
this place could be so much better, maybe less busy, but way better on the design/industry topics without the crasser examples of bullshit. for freedom, there´s always 4chan and such places.
also I don´t like that they INTEND to stir shit up, it´s not even that they have a bad sense of humour, they are out to destroy. ignore would be only self-defense.

would a light massage ending in a gentle rub-and-tug please QBN do you think? it works for my dad when he's wound up.
