Saw this last night - it's a very good film, and reminded me of my own experience in Chennai 10 years ago.

awesome cinematography. the plot keeps you hooked from start to finish. everyone played their role really well, especially the younger cast members (no spoilers)

It's my favourite movie of the year, so far. I'm sure some other good, depressing ones will come out in the next month...right in time for the Academy Awards. But it's almost the end of the year, and there haven't been many great films this year.

I'm definitely going to see it soon... seeing Freida Pinto on Leno certainly helped make that decision, but I liked Trainspotting too and the movie itself sounds intriguing.
