i used to get crazy motion sickness when i played doom back in the day. i'd have to pause every 10 minutes or so to lay down and wait for the room to stop spinning...

They placed the dot in the center after having several game testers puke their brains out.

i don't see how it would be any worse than assassin's creed

have played it - maybe if you're drunk or something, otherwise it's so kick ass as a game, surprised it hasn't had more hype.

yeah, HL2 and games on its engine really make me want to puke, they have a default setting for the Field of View that really screwed with my head. There was a command line fix when it came out to resolve it for some of us. But that doesn't help any console gamers. I'm fine playing flight sims on a PC for years, but BioShock on the 360 made me sick really quickly as well. Doom3, I had no problem with. It's just certain games with certain viewing perspectives really wreck havoc.

wouldn't doubt it. half-life 2 and tf2 make me sick. I get a cold sweat and become nauseated.

Theyre insisting with 60 or lower FOV-s which make stuff look more cinematic but also come close to what your screen takes up in front of you so it confuses the brain i guess.
The default used to be 90 degrees.
i dont have problems with either but i hate the small fovs as i dont see as much left and right

I always get motion sickness when I play video games early in the morning on 5 cups of coffee and nothing in my stomach. As soon as I eat something I'm fine.

I haven't played a computer game since California Games in the early 90's, but this game is the first I've seen that I actually want to play....

I want to try this.

loving the overall art direction of game, and yeah, i'd like to play this - it'll make a nice change from the constant killing of Call of Duties 4&5.

Try Dead Space, the Zero G rooms are mad.

Played the demo. Didn't puke. Got bored pretty quick.

Saw it on TV and looks shite, not my kinda game at all. But I can see myself getting seasick playing it.

played the demo - unique gameplay but I wont be buying it. Didnt feel sick either.

man..
can someone explain to me, why they make a game so heavy on acrobatics (parkour, which to me is amazing to watch..) in 1st person?what the hell is the point of having all these acrobatic skills if you are not able to see your character's movement?
When I saw this on TV I was like, wow a parkour game! and then it was all in 1st person.. just like wolfenstein 3d.
so disappointing
- 3rd person point of view wouln't have the same effect.Ruffian
- of course not! that is exactly my point.Meeklo
- Then the game would suck even more.Ruffian
- you can't see the movements you are doing? doesn't that bother you? ever seen parkour before?Meeklo
- it ends up looking just like wolfenstein 3d, but with better graphics.Meeklo
- The thing is that if the game would be set in 3rd person pov you woulnt have the sensation of being in the game.Ruffian
- The only reason why the game is making you sick is because the brain get confused which body parts are yours.Ruffian
- I'm not the one that said the game makes me sick, I said I was disappointed :)Meeklo
- and I also never said I get the feeling of being in the game, I actually don't feel in the game at allMeeklo
- Too many notes, I don't even remember what I said. A beer?Ruffian
