Christ knows lowimpact, I eat meat it doesn't bother me to see this, mostly because I have helped butcher a few animals myself, like deer and pheasant and fish. Lots of people don't like to be reminded of how the food gets to the plate. I remember as a child going out at about midnight for a long drive up into the hills and then into a deep forest that my father was managing then walking for a mile or so to then find a deer strung up a tree which a stalker had left for us to take home. I do however feel emotional pain when I see intensive farming and poor treatment.

I think it's great!! really does it's job from a design point of view, I was squirming with disgust!!
Besides I'm fine with animals being killed for meat, I eat it all the time, but if it weren't for PETA (the more sensible ones, not the "activists" who just in it for the thrill) animals would be bred and killed in even worse ways than they are now.. and believe me, it gets really bad. If you guys actually did 3 mins research on this you'd see what I mean.

i think u guys slights are missing the point. one thing is to eat animals (though pete is generally against it too) another thing is to commercializes a holiday based on killing poor fucking birds. there are millions of brain-dead zombies in this country who do things only because everyone else is doing it thus holidays like Thanksgiving that require a dead turkey contribute greatly to unnecessary millions of deaths each year.

I'm a vegan but not an active PETA supporter. I think it's funny how pissed people get at them when reallly all they are doing is a getting people's attention and doing it well. They have done plenty of good things for example: fuck with the fast food industry and make them change their practices.
Don't worry they won't take away your meat.

Instead of this scare tactics BS why don't they encourage ethical community based farming for where you can raise a bunch of turkeys or chickens over the course of a year or so and then if they choose, they can butcher and eat them. You've given them a nice life, lots of love and care and all that, and then made sure it died in a way that you see as morally sound.
They also taste alot better when they're running around happy.
