Anyone moving out of their 1-2BR Apartment Jan 1?
My GF and I are looking for a spacious 1 bedroom $1600 - and would like to try and avoid broker fees.
Graham / Lorimer area would be ideal
lower Greenpoint area is ok too.We Can bear the 10 min walk from greenpoint to the L as that is what we do now, and it kind of wakes you up so you're not a zombie when you get to work.
so does anyone know they are moving in Jan?

i can ask my landlord, my building is 1 room lofts... all i think are same or close to the same size - 700- 750 sqr feet maybe bigger not smaller...
want me to check?

i'm interested in 1room lofts for $1900.
right now we have a 1bedroom in boreumhill for $1650. we either want to get a bigger place with more natural light or buy a place sooner than later.

we have some new places being constructed in our building. all of them are 2 bedroom, all utilities included, with a washer/dryer combo. i think they're at $1600/month.
building is located around norman and monitor in greenpoint. you can catch the bus one block over to the lorimer L or walk a few blocks to the bedford stop. i can check with the landlord on availability if you're interested

Buy a place, I see places dropping 100-200k. Also the new buildings are offering, Test Drive where you live there for a year pay rent and purchase. Another is where they guarantee the price, you sign up for say $500k and if it drops before closing then you get your money back.
