anyone know how to make the background like that?any sample or tutorial?lol

it's done pretty badly, see where the table top joins the backer, they couldn't match the linework so they had to fade it.

anyways, how can we help. let us know.

I stopped looking when I saw Good Dog Plain. Sorry.

i want to build a background like this..the very 3d table look?
- set up a table, through a back drop cloth on it and don't pay attention to lines....tedismyfav
- the photograph. Easier then bs tricks. Recreate what it istedismyfav

trace the lines as vectors. gradient mesh them to hide the curve more. a little tweak here and there. viola.

^^What October said.
But once you've done your initial setup in Illy, import to PS as a smart-object and then knock out the products with a mask. Apply shadows and highlights as a series of layers.
Bang, you're done.

create the table in real life, photograph it. extend the top and bottom in photoshop...

you can do it in Illy by drawing the end of your shape and the middle of your shape, then using the blend tool.
then ... just mirror it and voila. You'll still need to use gradients, etc.
I don't think it's as easy an answer as you're looking for.

Does anyone know the font in that ad?
I remember using it in 98 and I can't remember what it is and it is bugging me. I also saw it on the side of a bus advertising some fruit smoothie in London.

This thread looks like its going into the "work stolen" thread. Hopefully in a couple weeks we won't see this same design somewhere else.

its done in illy
it is as brandelec said , bit of a sloppy job but its basically the same image duplicated 3 times each on a sep layer. each layer has a different distorted transform tool to create the bend and the angular depths. the uses blend + lighting tools to finish off the edge etctis really a piece of piss to do if u know illustrator
