anyone have any good links/articles for pairing typefaces? I ran across a few things but nothing substantial... Hoefler has a good article out there but it's print and i don't have it at the office. Thx!

I guess i could be pretty specific as well, does anyone know of any good serif's that pair well with DIN?

Scala or Prensa

http://www.identifont.com/show?8…and I think for my senior thesis we used DIN and Filosophia - but it has a TON of character to it, which might not be good depending on the project its being used for

- Sorry DIN will be header cambria for text (not really body, it's for an identity)d_rek

looks good. i think din is a pretty easy partner as it is not very stylized, no real give-away letters.

It's good to use typefaces that were designed by the same person or during the same era. Pay attention to x-heights and other similarities when pairing a serif and a sans serif. Good luck.

TheAntiqua has a similar x-height and would work well with DIN, if you must use DIN.

when pairing type, make sure the x-height is at least similar

I like https://fontsinuse.com
Unfortunately for you Hayzilla, they don’t have examples of Univia at the moment.
