Strange coincidence happened friday night, the night before she died.
I met this guy that had a huge "27" tattooed on his inner forearm. He didn't look like a NASCAR fan so I asked him what it meant.
He said he got it because of the "27" club and explained to me what that was. I guess I had heard Kurt, Jimi, Jim and Janis but I guess there's dozens of rock stars that had died at 27.- There's a comic based around that, came out earlier this year. http://www.mycomicsh…discoduro

- 5 fairly well known rock stars died at age 27 and 100's of really well known ones didn't - not much of a clubrybration
- Love how the 3 rappers on that list were all shot.CygnusZero4

A real shame.
Hopefully some good will come from her sad ending in life, hopefully she will have some influence on those that thinking drinking lots and taking drugs is a good idea.
It's a real shame to see people going around talking up drugs and binge drinking as if it's cool(particularly in the creative industry), when really - unless your life is stable and you have the mind control of a Buddhist monk it's an express train to sad city.

"Sources say, police have estimated Amy Winehouse`s ashes at a street value of 500 000 $"

too soon?- Not soon enough, should have been the first thing stated after the announcement.********

Cycled past her house today... 3 look-a-likes standing outside in a sea of flowers (not to mention the 4 satellite broadcasting vans and TV crews. Is there anything left to report on this?). I actually felt really sorry for their (look-a-likes) loss. They worshipped someone so much that they decided to take on their idols appearance (tattoos and all). Anyways, It freaked the shit out of me when I first noticed them.

As fucked up as she clearly was it's a real bummer as she obviously had incredible talent. Can't stand the bloke but Russell Brand's blog about this was brilliant.
Shits me to no end listening to entertainment reporters giving their accounts of her life from thousands of miles away saying she could have been saved bla bla. As much fun as people poked at her, and I'm sure I probably did at some stage, addiction is a fucken nightmare and she's probably in a better place now.

Not being British or into pop music, all I know of Winehouse is related to her addiction to making stupid choices.

No great loss!
chuck sheen and courtney love still going strong...these dumb kids today dont know how to handle there H!!!!!!

so basically the British tend to downplay or ignore addiction and the US tend to attack the individual with unrestrained spite.
i'm not sure either is good.
nor is speaking ill of the dead.

What was Amy Winehouse's biggest hit? Her last one, apparently.
