JK posted in the politics thread that the ignore feature wasn't built into this current version of QBN. So sadly it doesn't look like it will come back.

i manually igonre JazX most of the time. it works perfectly.
also i never go in the politics thread, so i barely ever see him.

1) See the name JazX.
2) Proceed to the next entry.

I don't think there will be an ignore feature ever again because it cuts down on peoples posts and that in turn cuts down on something which somehow makes money somewhere so the ignore feature will never come back :'(

I probably disagree on anything that comes out of Jazx mouth (or keyboard) but banning him would go against democracy. Instead of hiding from issues it's better to face them and to resolve.

yea, i don't see why it's so hard to just NOT read what a person types. or just not going into threads where you know something stupid might be going on... kinda' like the chick of the day thread. i KNOW there's nothing but childish nonsense going on in there that would get me fired on screen... so i just pretend it's not there, in fact, i don't even have to pretend, i'm an adult and i can just choose not to go there. simple.

Manual ignore works most of the time for me. Wacky pictures in *design* threads is kind of annoying but it seems to be better again lately.
Useless and nonsense threads stay at the top for way too long because we all just keep feeding them. Ignore them and they drop like lead balloons.

Ignore feature is great is a fail safe. A sort of "self-destruct" sequence, if you will. Be frankly, I kinda like watching the nasty back and forth, it's mildly entertaining. I generally don't make the mistake of getting too involved in an interweb brawl, as it's a bit silly. I'm a little more bothered by the space pussy, or whatever his name is, moron generating bad thread after bad thread.

I often think my solution to the ignore feature is ignored.
But yes, I do the manual myself. Sometimes I find myself responding to say like Lloyd but then I just never come back to whichever thread it was.
