how can i turn off the annoying ease effect when you drag stuff around with space hand?

^^sounds like a video card issue. CS4 is VERY heavy on processing, ram, video, etc.

no its a deliberate effect they added. like a toss around effect. so when i hold space and drag the canvas around and lets go of the mouse button before space the canvas eases into position. wich ofcourse is extremely annoying

I have the Web Premium upgrade to CS4. Illustrator new artboard manager rocks. Photoshop 3D capabilities consumes a lot of processor/RAM but its a nice feature, flash new 3D also Rocks. Overall I think there are some really nice improvments I love the new interface. One I love is the new arragment documents, both in PS and AI, specially in PS when you have a lot of imagens and you want to have a overview of althe documents in the screen. Also the pan and zooming in PS and the "page turn" very helpfull.
Yesterday I went to a Adobe Seminar in Lisbon where they present the new CS4 products and features. What the fuck those guys think we are, monkeys? c'mon they were throwing t'shirts to the audience bettween features and claps!! Dont they have budget to print 500 t'shirts??? Either they give a t'shirt to everybody or they dont!!

ah I see it now. yeah that is kind of annoying. I doubt it can be turned off.

same with the zoom in/out smooth scale view. they probably spent a lot of man hours getting it to work. I'm guessing it eats a lot of processing power.

well the easy effect depends on how you pan, if you dont balance the mouse it doesn't do the easy effect. Try it!

yeah you have to let go of them at the same time. but as the shove around function is used frequently and often in a haste while doing stuff its annoying the shit out of me
