when they get a midget to tap dance with a cat i will donate.
It's radio they can totally fake it by saying "OMG they are tap dancing, it's really real...this is amazing."

If McCain wins, his wife will close it down.

NPR is useless to me except for the cool jazz, opera Sunday (Sunday Opera? can't remember), and the two brothers with the car show (those guys are awesome). I rarely catch any of that, though. When I'm in my car I usually listen to iPod, or if I bother with radio, Howie Carr. When I'm at home, I never listen to the radio.
NPR already gets my tax money, and they ain't gettin' any more.

Don't ever mention your dislike of pledge drives to someone who actually works for NPR- they take that shit personally!

Yeah, I dig studio 360 on the podcast, so does that mean I don’t have to donate, since I don’t listen “on the air”?

Dog- you might give NPR a try sometime. Based on the diction in your comment, you're a total idiot. As my I like to say, you can't fall off the floor.

i really like This American Life, Wait, Wait..Don't Tell Me, and Radio Lab, but have never gotten around to pledging.
i've gotten thru a childhood of good ol Catholic guilt, what's a few corny announcers offering coffee cups and tote bags gonna do to me?
