What Kinda Designer are you?

My boss requested I set up a signature for my email... with my role declared as 'Designer'. I wrote Graphic Designer and he refused it as it gave the impression I was a print designer only ?????? Try figure that one out. Now I am confused. I am working as web designer, true, but I am trained as a graphic designer or visual communicator as it is officially termed I believe.. So what is it.?... Is it... Interactive Designer / New Media Designer / Graphic Designer for Web / Multimedia Designer / Web Designer Developer / Jack Of All Trades ?????? :)

Last job I was Graphic Designer then Graphic Design and Digital Media.
Theres no hard and fast rule though, it can differ from place to place. Why not just 'Designer'?
