He has used the Osama killing as his battle cry at his competence at combatting terrorism... and now this happens right before the elections... gotta feel like he doesnt want this to become an issue of his failing under his watch. After all hes the one that tracked, hunted and killed Osama. He is the man of all men. Barry Soetoro

How long had it been since President Obama attended his daily intelligence meeting in the lead-up to the Sept. 11 attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities in Egypt and Libya? After all, our adversaries are known to use the anniversary of 9/11 to target the United States.
According to the public schedule of the president, the last time the Obama attended his daily intelligence meeting was Sept. 5 — a week before Islamist radicals stormed our embassy in Cairo and terrorists killed our ambassador to Tripoli. The president was scheduled to hold the intelligence meeting at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, the day after the attacks, but it was canceled so that he could comfort grieving employees at the State Department — as well he should. But instead of rescheduling the intelligence briefing for later in the day, Obama apparently chose to skip it altogether and attend a Las Vegas fundraiser for his re-election campaign. One day after a terrorist attack.

whhipp, it's easy to find examples of any President partaking in questionable activities during/around critical global political issues, so focusing on Obama is pointless, really
- Bush had far more vacation, for example, and much bigger problems to deal withmonospaced
- serious? i dont think so.whhipp
- Yes, he had far more vacation than most any President ever.monospaced
- where is the data. Obama 3 years and Bush 3 years? lets see it.whhipp
- After 31 months (3 years) Obama had taken 61 days. Bush had taken 80 days. http://www.cbsnews.c…monospaced
- Bush at 180, not 80, almost 3X more at 3 years in.monospaced
- So now shut up, shitstain.DrBombay

If you are really concerned about foreign policy and terrorism, then why would you want to elect Romney, who has zero experience in any of it?
- no obama has none and shows to still have none. Romney has it, shipping jobs overseas, his swiss accounts. its all there ready to go.whhipp
- Ha. Elaborate troll going on.DrBombay
- Hey, and Palin knew about international affairs because she was neighbors with Russia.monospaced
- Having offshore bank accounts does not equate to experience in foreign policy. Sigh.monospaced

- if your point is your abhorrence of his personal beliefs, you are on the wrong tracklocustsloth
- Any person can be derided for his beliefs (or lack thereof). There's plenty more substantial things wrong with himlocustsloth
- Why aren't you objecting to Obama's Christianity? "Ask Me About Noah! LOL"locustsloth
- it's called sarcasmmonospaced
- LDS is basically the same thing as Scientology in many ways. If we had a Scientology candidate do you think it would come up?DrBombay
- I object to his Christianity. I think anyone who believes in "god" is fucking stupid and has no right to rule this nation.monospaced
- be an issue?DrBombay
- I don't think anyone religious should be involved in politics. I think it biases their views.monospaced
- nice going mono. I like your tone.whhipp
- mono, that's the same as a religous person saying that someone who is unaffiliated has no right to governlocustsloth
- @locustloth, no it's not. In this country, we are free to believe what we want. And it's our right to not have anything imposedmonospaced
- I fear that religion already imposes too much on the masses via government. A Mormon is terrifying.monospaced

RNC cuts ties with voter-drive firm accused of fraud
The Republican National Committee has abruptly dropped ties to a firm running a major get-out-the-vote effort in seven swing states after Florida prosecutors started an investigation into possible fraud in voter registration forms.

Fraudulent GOP voter registration problems widening in Florida.
What first appeared to be an isolated problem in one Florida county has now spread statewide, with election officials in nine counties informing prosecutors or state election officials about questionable voter registration forms filled out on behalf of the Republican Party of Florida.
State Republican officials already have fired the vendor it had hired to register voters, and took the additional step of filing an election fraud complaint against the company, Strategic Allied Consulting, with state officials. That complaint was handed over Friday to state law-enforcement authorities.
A spokesman for Florida's GOP said the matter was being treated seriously.
"We are doing what we can to find out how broad the scope is," said Brian Burgess, the spokesman.
Florida is the battleground state where past election problems led to the chaotic recount that followed the 2000 presidential election.
