the news corp fallout is so interesting; murdoch is so reviled here due to fox news, when really that's mostly roger ailes' doing. tabloids like NOTW have always held this 'not respected but still integral' part of political theater abroad. while i don't condone at all what they did, i worry what happens with fewer (even sleazy) news outlets.
it's always better to have politicians scared of the media than vice versa.
but with all of these high-ranking resignations and the insane culling murdoch is doing by shutting down NOTW, i'd imagine there's so much more yet to be revealed.
