Even if the Republicans take the House by a small margin this fall, they won't be able to accomplish jack shit.
There won't be any big change in the way the country is run. All Obama's laws will stay on the books. It will just be the same that happened with Reagan and Clinton during their first midterm, but to a lesser degree.
And if you believe otherwise, please explain how.

Liberals protested Bush over the war in Iraq, which ended up killing, by conservative count, at least several hundred thousand innocent civilians and several thousand Americans. We can add in torture, and attempts to gut basic freedoms with the Patriot Act. Does that justify comparing him to Hitler? Fuck if I know, but I'm not gonna cry about it.

The worst you can say about Obama is that he failed to end many of Bush's mistakes quickly enough.
Bush was the radical, and it's hard to imagine how things could have turned out worse thanks to the decisions he made. He deserved every last protest, and it's a shame he didn't get clobbered in the face with that shoe.
