^ Liberals always lay low when their asses are getting fucking kicked.

Why are Americans so easily fooled into this Rep/Dem game? US is a monoparty system. It's never "your" government, even if you voted for it. Their goals as a political class are entirely different from yours, often against yours.
- ukit0
And how are things working out in the U.K., where you have multiple parties? Going swimmingly over there huh?;)
- Any thoughts on David Cameron reneging on his promise to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty?ukit
- I don't live in UK. It was a sure bet Cameron wouldn't do shit. Lisbon Treaty gives UK, Germany& France all power.raf
- it's the same game in all democracies, but in the US you've been tricked into believing 2parties=mature systemraf

It's getting old hearing the vile shit people say about US politics or it's citizens and generalizing like there's no real opinion to be had, no real constructive input about why things are the way they are.
Not even giving a nod to the fact that the crap that's being said might just reflect on how bad off things are in those people's native countries or political systems. But wow, let's poo all over fat, dumb Americans. Woo Hooo! What a great, original idea. So intelligent. So inspired. Wowie, you are so damned smarty smarts. I feel more intelligent just being online at the same time as you. Let's move next to Christian hating...the perfect most logical step in intelligent discourse. Let's pick on the Pope and call Christians stupid, brainwashed, idiot Republicans who all watch HSN and send their money to fat televangelists for some healing salve or a nod to heaven. No other religions are ever worth the hate spewed here. No Way! Save it all for those jesus freaks and their bleeding statues and christ on a piece of toast.
It's all very tiring. AngryMob is more fun to listen to. Bunch of useless twats. Apologies. I think I'll avoid this thread for a while...
- ...sigh...zenmasterfoo
- you complain about generalizing then you generalize? Fucking classic. Twat.********
- fuck you Fred you cunt. You give mostly useless gibberish and point a finger. you baseless idiot. fucking absolute waste.zenmasterfoo

Every time I hear a Northern Euro say some shit about America, I rest assured in the fact that no one besides a caucasian will ever be PM of their incredibly progressive nations.

great read.
A friend just sent me a quote.
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.
Robert A. HeinleinOn first read it seems to make sense but look more closely. In the “such as” list there are seven “tags”. Six are “controlling tags” and only one is not.
In the political spectrum of Left and Right, “Left” is defined by the level of “control”. The more control exercised by the government, the more “leftist” it becomes. Extreme left is Communism, Nazism, and Socialism. These are fascist governments – total control.
The terms “liberal” and “democrat” are now synonymous. It is not possible to vote Democrat without supporting a liberal agenda - a socialist agenda. If you are a Democrat and don’t consider yourself a liberal, watch Glenn Beck. A liberal is a fascist wannabe whether the realization is there or not. Naiveté is a common defect among liberals.
A populist is merely a baby fascist – a fascist seed.
The amount of "Right" is defined by the absence of control with the ultimate “right” being no control; extreme right is anarchy. An extreme “rightist” government does not exist by definition.
In summary, all but one of the author’s tags fits "control" with conservative being the quintessential exception. The tag “republican” is not referenced by Heinlein, but this is not to say that a republican can not fall into the "control" category. However, said Republican would not be conservative and certainly not "Right" nor right. A conservative supports a constitutional republic as defined by the constitution and affirmed by the founders. The constitution sets a balance between the rights of the individual and the responsibility of the government, both State and Federal). A conservative is in the center at the constitutional balance between left and right. To the liberal, the center is now so far to his right it appears extreme.

Nazism and Fascism are right-wing not left-wing movements.
- yeah severely right wing ideologieseieio
- National Socialism was a radical left-wing ideology.raf
- You can call it whatever you want, but most historians consider Hitler and Mussolini right wingersukit

It's funny when ideology gets in the way of basic facts like the Nazis were right wing.
- No shit...did everyone not learn that in 3rd grade?ukit
- i think it would be better if you explained the reasons why you think that is true.********
- since the left right are ideologies and your ideology could be different than others. its wrong in my book********

"Fascism, pronounced /ˈfæʃɪzəm/, is a political ideology that seeks to combine radical and authoritarian nationalism[1][2][3][4] with a corporatist economic system,[5] and which is usually considered to be on the far right of the traditional left-right political spectrum."

I'll tell you what, Fred McClueless why don't you find your local Neo-Nazi hangout and walk in with a mexican and an African American, tell them that they're you're buddies and you want to join up with such a forward thinking, left leaning organization. You know, one that's probably all down with equal rights. And then ask them if they'll mind chipping in for some healthcare for your wetback buddy.
When your skull heals, you can get back to me on how leftist they are.
Fucking moron.

Odd how we see constant technological advances in just about every field imaginable, yet we're stuck in the same old generalizations of social affiliations and beliefs. I remember someone here on QBN said that advances in technology have not eliminated the dogmas of the past and I couldn't agree more. Here we are in the 21st century and we are almost indistinguishable from our ancestors. Me want! Me fight you and then take, grunt!
- version30
different bone structure, longer life, more diverse travel. these are far from indistinguishable
- Sure, in large part due to technological advancement. I just seems like people are incapable of accepting that those they disagree with might be right.IRNlun6
- ... they might be right. Then again I don't deny that it could be more media driven focus on extreme opinions.IRNlun6
- damn that was butchered... seems like people just can't accept that those they disagree with might be right.IRNlun6
