So...
Insurance companies are pulling in huge profits while throwing people who get cancer and other fatal illnesses off their plans when they already have insurance. While their CEOs literally collect tens of millions a year in bonuses.
And we've got the insurance lobby, along the same guys who gave us the Iraq War, indefinite detention of prisoners and George Bush organizing against health care reform, and you guys are cheering them on.
You think THEY are the ones who will save you from the government becoming too powerful and trampling on your rights. Because that's what you heard on cable TV or talk radio.
And now we got guys, who are either in league with or encouraged by those same groups, showing up outside the Democratically elected President's health care event with fucking guns. Would it be naive to think they are there to "send a message?"
I guess propaganda really does work. It's sad.
