Listen, I'm a big fan of differing points of view. I don't mind people being very emotional and vocal about them either. As a matter of fact I fully support free speech, press, media. It's what makes this country superior to all others in my eyes. We have intolerance and hatred and racism and all other negative human facets that most people hate in any civilization, but we're still the best and maybe because of it too. Allowing the citizens of a nation the voice to elicit change in it's society without retribution from the government is something of a rarity these days.What I don't like, in American political discourse, is blatant, indignant, hateful, disrespect aimed at our President. I don't agree with Obama's policies. You'll probably find a great many here who question the methods behind his administration's choices. The range of political ideas here is wide. I like that. But when people here retched out the same negative chatter about Bush, I bit my tongue. I did the same when conservatives spewed garbage about Clinton. I'm feeling the same about the things you call our current President. There used to be in this county a level of respect given that office. He is our president. We are Americans. Politics will always make our conversations emotional to some degree, but damn it man, respect that office.
I don't mind your viewpoints but the way you mouth off here, it's no wonder you have little to no support. Conservatives hated when liberals bashed Bush or Reagan the same way. Hypocrisy is never an admired trait to have.
