U.S. Presidential Election to be decided on Monday Night Football
http://washingtontimes.com/news/…It's called the Redskins Rule, and it has an accuracy rate of either 94 or 100 percent depending on how it's applied. Every time the Redskins win their final home game before a presidential election, the candidate representing the incumbent party remains in office.
- So you Obama fans better be rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, I told you it would come down to Western PA!********
- How does this line up with the Halloween mask rule, and that one about the kid's polling?TheBlueOne
- I would think statistically much more measureable. Don't you?********

"Any time it looks like they are on the verge of voting somebody new into office, there is buyer's remorse," he said. "Based on that, and the fact that the country has been so polarized in recent elections, there's pretty good reason to think that the polls might tighten up a little bit."- You must be fun at parties.TheBlueOne

The final Gallup 2008 pre-election poll -- based on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 Gallup Poll Daily tracking -- shows Barack Obama with a 53% to 42% advantage over John McCain among likely voters. When undecided voters are allocated proportionately to the two candidates to better approximate the actual vote, the estimate becomes 55% for Obama to 44% for McCain.

Biden will spend his last rally tonight campaigning with the Phillies.

Dick Cheney's support. Considering this is going to be all about, "anyone but Bush's party election" this isn't exactly good for McCain.- Barack's already used it in a speechlocustsloth

The Associated Press reports that over 27 million ballots were already cast up through Saturday night, the most recent time for which the data is available. Polling data suggests that Barack Obama has carried the early vote handily this year, meaning that John McCain will need to win the votes cast on Election Day by a strong margin.
122.2 million people voted in the 2004 presidential election.
