Another one to test for. Another variable in the all too many variables of the web experience.
That said I agree with where they're coming from. I just hate adding another browser to the list of "the site will work in . . . " so that it means more testing, more work, more fixes.

Looking at Flash you say? Ever thought maybe thats Adobes fault... you know considering they wrote Flash not Apple.

just downloaded the beta. I've noticed it is significantly faster at loading most pages. I noticed the biggest difference at myspace.com. It used to take about 10 seconds for the page to fully appear, but it only took about 2 seconds with chrome.
On facebook, everything looks normal, but I noticed that I couldn't click on some things, like the divs weren't focused or something.
QBN looks pretty much the same, except the search form gets a little rearranged.
Their new version of "auto-complete" is pretty rad so far. You type one letter and it brings up the root URL for the site you're probably thinking of since it chooses URLs by what you tend to look at regularly rather than just any string that happens to match.
So far so good... except they need to make it for macs.

Initially it will only work on Windows computers, though versions for Mac and Linux operating systems are being developed.

A few annoyances which I'll put down to BETA;
- can't right-click to open a bookmark in a tab
- bookmarks - why are they an afterthought? They are downplayed as if they're not essential...
