I'd stay in the US but I'd move out to Hawaii. There seems to be less government bullshit out there. The only problem is there's little design work and everything is so fucking expensive because it all has to get boated to the Islands. I probably would give up design and try to get a moderate job as a whatever and just make ends meet on the Island and surf all morning and weekends.
