Off to Berlin next week for 5 days! woohoo!
Any good exhibitions, bars, restuarants etc to go to?? I'm not really a clubber - more of a bar fly! ;)
Have this on my to-do list already.. http://www.time.com/time/arts/ar…
Danke!

Even though you're not a clubber, please visit a techno party in Berlin... you just have to! Jewish museum is also very interesting, both the building and the exhibition itself...

trying to pin point bars you could trawl round in berlin is like trying to find a specific grain of sand in an egg timer. just head to the east of the city and get pissed, its that simple, they are 90% ace wee places. I love Berlin

If you're not a clubber you should stay well clear of Panorama Bar, but if you want a properly crazy, undeniably awesome experience, get yourself there.
Hedonism unlike anything else I ever saw.
If not, Jewish museum is great, Neu National Galerie is alright, and a place called Weekend is a good bar / club near Alexanderplatz
This is what panorama bar looks like from the outside: Opens at midnight saturday and rocks on straight through until 6pm sunday night.

There's usually some wacky exhibition or theatre or music thing going on at Tacheles. www.tacheles.de — in the Mitte district.
Maybe not as authentic as fifteen years ago, it's still a blast to check out.
There's always something going on east, in Kreuzberg. Bars, shops, etc, etc.
Where you staying?- Lots of music bars without music in Kreuzberg... really cool!joqui

Go up the tower. It's cheesy but fun. Go at sunset in the middle of the week and it won't be as tourist-laden.

One of the nicer bars I went to when in Berlin last summer:

Get of the S-Bahn at Hackessher Markt station... really nice neighbourhood with small bars and nice shops. Little bit more 'cozy' then the rest of Berlin...

get one of those canal ferry ride things... it lasted 3 1/2 hours when i did it, but it was really cool. like seeing the building where Hitlers assassination was planned (and later that day the 2 guys who planned it were executed). also Berlin zoo is meant to be pretty cool although i didn't see it when i was there. you can also go up the tower in alexanderplatz for like a tenner i think.
- just now realised you're asking about bars... maybe you can do those things between bars...itstimefortea
- perhaps if i was there bit longer or if the weather was super nice! Can you drink on the ferry? ;)rough
- yeah there's like a bar on it... they bring drinks out to where your sitting. just watch out for bridges, some of them are pretty low.itstimefortea
- you can drink everywhereautoflavour
- i meant to say the bridges are pretty low... not just pretty. which i'm sure they are.itstimefortea

Later at night we went to this place...
http://berlin.unlike.net/locatio…I.. ehh.. think it was nice. Or wild... Don't remember too much more than: Female doctor and real estate agent, dancefloor, champagne, and that she gave me a dance in a sofa downstairs...
