dunno if this is still as good as it was in the original venue but it certainly was then http://www.tresorberlin.com/club…
mind you I was a good bit younger then and still really liked techno, so I might not even be into it myself nowadays

Go to the Hamburger Bahnhof:
It's the biggest gallery I've been to.
GOOD TIP: If you're going to a number of galleries, there's a pass you can buy that allows you in to loads of them - so it works out way cheaper.
Can't remember what it's called but a lot of the galleries sell it (we bought ours in the Jewish Museum).

oh yeah also on thursday nights from 6pm, all state galleries in berlin are free.. pretty much all the museums on museums island (on unter der linden, next to the Berlin Dom)

its crazy mix of restaurant, bar, tattoo parlor and barber.. awesome atmosphere, especially if you like rock stuff.apart from that, try and check out yaam over near kreuzberg.. more of the dub reggae tip, but its a huge outdoor beach club next to the spree.. complete with half pipe, basketball court..

Thanks to everyone who posted places to see / things to do!! I really enjoyed Berlin, great city!! Loved the mitte region, bars and restaurants! So much history for one place, nearly overwhelming!
Unfortunately the Hamburger Bahnof was closed for a revamp! :(
