So it's been a while since I've been on one. I'll be there tomorrow AM for our first run with this new printer who is doing our company collateral. I'll be packing my lupe and minibar appetite.
Any good tips to help survive and get the most out of this visit?

I just got back from one. When I haven't got shit to do they're awesome. But when there's work piling up they're a royal pain in the ass.
I consume as much orange juice and cashews as possible during my stay.
As far as actual work is concerned, I usually check colours, make sure the images don't look like shite. Scan all titles and headings one last time just in case (though it's a little late to be catching typos by this point). I dunno. If you've got nothing to say ask them to bump the cyan just for fun.

If they have a client room with a tv, make an effort to take video games. I don't play them unless I''m on press checks. Either that, or changes printers to Creel Printing (they are in Vegas). There is never a shortage of time wasters there.
