How accurate is it, if at all?
From what I hear people saying on QBN the site underestimates current salary trends. I looked on another site and it was $15-20k above what was quoted on designsalaries.org

This one says the average salary for a senior designer in Philadelphia is $88k. Madness?
- Never mind, now it says $73k5timuli

its just a ref. there is no salary facts. you have to adjust your $$$ depending on who its hiring.

Ask around town. Sites are never accurate, especially given the current marketplace.

how much do designers make w/8yrs exp???
- 5timuli0
Nobody knows =v/
I've had salary estimates from several sites and forums ranging from 42k to 88k for a senior designer in Indianapolis. I've got 10yrs experience and there's no way I'm working for $42k. And I seriously doubt many places anywhere pay 88k for a senior, unless you're lucky.
The only people I know here are either working low-end or they're the people doing the hiring so I've nobody to ask.

I find it funny that it's coming from Aquent. A head hunter agency that will try and low-ball designers so they get a bigger cut.

It's gotta be shite...
Designer: 35 / 38 / 50
Sr. Designer: 40.5 / 43 / 47.5
CD: 57.5 / 65 / 78.52.5k less for a Senior (75th percentile) then a jump of over 30k to CD? Garbage.
