- credit report if you have one
- your old utility + phone / mobile
- all IDslots of scams, I dig through cause i didnt want to pay for brokers fee, which can be 1-3 months rent.

jose man you gotta do your leg work, not everywhere is safe.
it could be safe area but crappy building (rats / bugs) or vice versa.
you really gotta feel for the place. usually if its too good to be true, its a scam. and get ready to leave any moment and sign right away.

i actually found a really good place in the village. its a 2 bedroom. small but sweet. 2250..only problem.. I think 50 people are fighting for it b/c there is no broker fee and I dont have a roommate.

i kept saying that i am gonna find a place next week for 2 months.... for plan long but be ready to jump. most of the people bail out on their lease when they find a good place.
it seems like most of the people in the city are always ready to move to a their ideal place and always living in a "place for now"
