What the others said: Start from scratch:
- logically organize your content
- lay down a structure of the site, not stile, just black content on a white page, size it, work on it, use the lesser elements you can, pursue the maximum clarity
- style it
- post it here againAnd +1 for dropping the rybo attitude in less than 2 pages.
