Normally it would be a good idea to strip back the design on your portfolio site leaving it cleaner and allowing the work you are showing space to shine.

Until you can learn to take constructive criticism, what is the point of anyone posting any.
Go away and look at loads of portfolio sites. Make a list of the ones you like the best, then a list of what it is about each one that you like. Then you can begin to work these points into your own site.

haha, I wasn't actually looking at Geocities... gosh. I was using it to point out that saying "look at some websites" is a bit vague.
Thanks though. I'm going to use a grid. It actually takes me longer than 2 minutes to change it though, so please have a little patience :)
