I love the 993 turbos, but I love the 997 tt a little better. The int. on the new ones is so much nicer with the updates.

niko .. i just read the bit about the car james dean died in. i was watching interviews with him and ironically enough the last interview he gave the theme was 'drive safe' since he was such an icon and was really into racing. some sort of public service announcement.
but the last words were .. "drive safe on the roads you never know who you might hit. it just might be me". something along those lines. i'll try to find it again.
what a beautiful car though. an amazing chariot to the afterlife.

Llyod like stated in the beautiful cars thread the 911 remains one of the greatest sports cars ever hands down. It shape has basically stayed the same with subtle tweaks here and there aka the 959 and GT2 posted above. The 911 Turbo though is the way to go and and for aftermarket Rinspeed is a good option. Here's another lesser known and coveted old school 911. The 935 slope nose.

Gemballa also does nice aftermarket. Especially the 911 GTR Avalanche.
