This isn't even funny, I just went to london for the motorshow, and on the way back we decide to stop at Bond Street. On the way back from Bond st heading towards Stanmore, a girl who's with us won't come down the escalator.
She has a fear of going down escalators.
Going up was okay, but going down wasn't. Nice of her to tell us NOW. Anyway, after much crying, hyper-ventilation, and a quick chat with the bond st stationmaster (friendly, tubby bloke), he shuts down one of the escalators so she can walk down it while it's off.
Never again.

Alright, I'm really confused...
What exactly in that video was not totally fun and why were those people acting like an earthquake had just happened? I've been to Tokyo and from what I could tell of the society around me, people knew how to use an escalator.
