You have generous friends.
It's a nice shot... just not iconic. On any level.

not really feeling anything from it

Ironic?

some thing to be defined as iconic, thats tough to say, it needs to have general consensus of what it represent and get narrowed direction from it.

it'll make a great 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle

while the photo is nice, to reach iconic state, it needs to represent who you are and what it means on mass level.

It was just the comments I had from a few ppl...so....its good to have different views and feedback..good or bad...always interesting to know what ppl feel or like/dislike

It's a nice pic, messes with my eyes a little, probably just a screen thing. Iconic is the wrong word to use, it's a nice shot.

I think your English might just be letting you down. The picture doesn't do much for me but even if it did. It wouldn't be iconic...
adj.
1. Of, relating to, or having the character of an icon.
2. Having a conventional formulaic style. Used of certain memorial statues and busts.- Am just saying what ppl told me...nothing to do with my English : )Laurent

To be iconic it usually needs to be associated with something of status - usually historical so it encapulates a snapshot in time. Lovely artistic image but: Moonlanding, burning monk etc. = iconic. I think it is a wrong use of english :)
- I will report that to who ever told me that....in order to rectify their English...lolLaurent

i think to be iconic it needs to have a meaningful context.
But i do really like the image.
