used this back in the day when it was only a linux thing. pretty clever. I would have all creative windows in 1, music in another, internet in another, and im's if I needed in yet another.

I had it installed for a while with work stuff in one space and msn, email and browsers in another. You can then install smackbook to swap if you are on macbook pro like me.

I use it all the time. Text edit and finder in one space... Adobe programs in another... Firefox and browsers in one... and email/ichat in the other...

Use it all the time. Pretty much similar configuration as everyone else. Prefer not to hit my computer though.

I use it all the time, in a 2x3 window config. I've got my thumb button on my mouse set to bring it up so it's super easy to switch windows, or just Apple-Tab to move around. Adobe apps in one, Coda in one, Email in one, browsers in one, Finder in one, iTunes in one.

Love spaces. took me a while, but it really helps organize things.
Adobe apps in one
Safari, itunes in another
music editing programs in another
firefox on it's own in another

I only use it when I want to use Illustrator fullscreen

spaces is very annoying with AE. it often forces focus back to AE when you really don't want to.

i found it slowed things down a bit. i tried it for awhile but went back to just using expose.

I'll have to try that. Heretofore I've never used it.

i use it. email/web on one. work apps on another. full-screen windows running through parallels on a third.

what if you need a browser for work in space 1, and for whatever in space 2 - the browser can only be in one space at one time innit? uless you click a window as you switch, which is a bit technical and a bit of a hand gymnast task, defeating the whole purpose
