Have you ever gone on field trips as a team/group with your coworkers during a work day? Maybe museums, exhibits, openings, movies, etc? I'm trying to think of something good to go with the art dpt here..

when I was 18 we went drinking

once we went to see the east european pepsi factory and it was a blast! it was actually the client's idea but everybody enjoyed.

another one was when we went to ars electronica (http://www.aec.at/en/) in Linz. four cars and a group of fifteen (besides creative dept some guys from production went plus a very annoying account). on the way back my car got lost in the austrian alps and jesus... we drove the whole night and only made it back early morning next day.
