anyone on Rogers in Canada notice that if you type an invalid domain it redirects you to a page filled with ads based on what you typed in your domain?
I just ended up here:
http://www20.search.rogers.com/s…wtf is this? that really bugged me
- Jaline0
Yeah, I've been getting that lately too. Guess they changed it.

They do that here with Tiscali (UK). Bastards.

From a commercial point of view, quite clever and obvious. From a consumer point of view, it's a pain in the arse.

i hate it. just noticed it today.

It's not just invalid domains for me. Sometimes if a page I know to be correct takes too long to load I get redirected.

you can opt out of it

^ The opt-out is cookies based, so don't clear your cookies ever again.
But really, drop Rogers like the festering whore it is and switch to TekSavvy.
