i have never met 70% of my clients and i love most of them.
and i don't know if it's something to do with me but we all seem to like each other. and very often i get updates regarding their personal lives and you know... more often that i'd expect.... i feel like i'm very good friends of them.

i also have to say freelance work for me is something you should do because you like. it's probably the only time in your life (if you're not dead broke) when you can choose who to work for. but then.... even when i was working for a big agency i still would get postcards from clients.

I hate them, they hate me. They are suspicious of anything I think, say, suggest or do. They continually question invoices, or simply don’t pay them. They ask for one thing and when it is given to them, they say they don’t want that and ask where the fuck I got that impression from. They art-direct everything we do until it looks just like the shit they came to us to divorce themselves from in the first place. They develop a “corporate vision” and cringe away from it like a beaten-down dog when you put it on the cover of their annual report. The only people they hate more than us is themselves. They are dickless middle-management/marketing dicks devoid of class, taste, wit, or common sense.
