update from the nikon d40

my d40 is starting to feel a bit to basic... so what should i get next?
i like nikon... and i'd like to start working with strobes.any suggestions?

although I must say, there's nothing to stop anyone from taking great photos with a d40

but i'd like:autobracketing
more megapixels (if i sell a photo)
faster shootting
use strobes
buy other lens other than nikonand i can't do that with my d40
