Transfer deadline day today was seriously ridiculous.
If we don't replace Berbatov (Fraser Campbell doesn't count) it will be a huge let down. What we are doing signing Corluka I will never, ever know...Maybe Robinho meant he was joining Spurs, there was just a massive typo?

If Chelsea actually wanted him, then we would have got him. But we rightly refused to pay the stupid fee they were after. . . Which left Robinho (having burnt his bridges @ Real) with no where else to go. I'm glad we don't buckle and pay over the odds for players anymore.

Incorrect josf. when chelsea put robinho's name on the back of their shirt on the chelsea site, it pissed real off, they didnt want to sell to chelsea. it's all true. sky sports told me.
Chelsea are always going to pay over the odds for players.
As will city now.
And the battle has begun. This could really ruin football. Every signing is just going to be a tug of war between both teams, sending prices into stupid land.
